SECOND CONDITIONAL
EJEMPLO:
- If I won the lottery, I would travel around the world.
- If I had more free time, I would play more sport.
If + past simple, would/wouldn’t + verb.
- If I lived in a big city, I would go out more often.
- If I lived in a big city, I wouldn’t need a car.
- I’d go out more often if I lived in a big city.
THIRD CONDITIONAL
consecuencias:
EJEMPLO:
- If I hadn't gone to Marta's party, I would never have met my wife
- If I had studied the right things, I would have passed that exam
EJEMPLO:
- If I hadn't gone to the casino after the Christmas party, I wouldn't have lost all my money
O de las oportunidades perdidas:
- If I had done an Erasmus programme in the UK, my English would have improved
2. if we had
all remembered to close the windows in the house, none of the furniture would
have been damaged by water.
3. if i had
asked first where there were promotions, i would have taken advantage of the
mall discounts.
